There is a methodology attached to best practices that evaluates the gap between the entity’s behavior (reality) and the interested parties’ perception by monitoring the sources of threats and news. The Institution develops prevention strategies and has set up a communication plan for events that give rise to reputational risk. The following are monitored and reported periodically:

Financial results to ensure and build the trust of stakeholders about the solvency and viability of the entity.
Ratings from Agencies Rating.
Bank Credit Demand Survey (BANXICO).
Organizational Environment and Culture Survey.
Assessment of the Quality of the Information by BANXICO and CNBV.
Monthly Monitoring of News about the Entity.
The annual report of companies in Mexico regarding the existence and publicity of corporate integrity policies.

BANCOMEXT shows a Strong Reputation in 2020, the foregoing resulting from the evaluated factors having shown an improvement oriented towards the desirable situation quadrant due to the growth performance of the portfolio and the result of the Organizational Environment and Culture Survey.
