Mission
Foster the financing of foreign trade and the generation of profits for the country, boosting production capabilities of export companies, and, when applicable, their internationalization by offering a quality service to clients with financing programs, guarantees, and other specialized financial services.
Vision
To be the primary driver of foreign trade development through innovation and quality, with committed individuals guided by shared values.
Objectives and Strategies
Within the Planning for Development 2019-2024 framework, Bancomext's Institutional Program aims to fulfill the strategic objectives, goals, and strategies indicated in the PND (National Development Plan) 2019-2024. The actions established in the Institutional Program are based on the guiding principles found in the PND 2019-2024 and the PRONAFIDE (National Development Finance Program) 2020-2024.
The strategy adopted by Bancomext focuses on three main axes: i) promoting national industrial development focused on productive sectors, ii) promoting regional development based on the productive vocations of each region and, iii) promoting and supporting the priority economic projects of the Federal Government. This strategy is aligned with Axis 3, Economic Development, of the PND, relating to productivity, foreign trade, employment, and production chains, as well as the guiding principles that motivate said Plan. In particular, the Program is governed by the PND principles of “Economy for well-being,” “No to a rich government with a poor population” and “Leave no one behind, leave no one out.”
Additionally, the Institution's actions are aligned with Objective 6 of the PRONAFIDE project, with its strategies and lines of action.
On September 2, 2020, Bancomext’s Board of Directors approved its Institutional Program 2020-2024. Said approval is in the process of being published in the Official Gazette of the Federation.
