Chemical-Pharmaceutical Sector

Bancomext, interested in offering a comprehensive proposal for support in terms of financing, fostered a rapprochement between the institution and the companies affiliated to the National Association of the Chemical Industry, A.C. (ANIQ), as well as the companies incorporated in the supply chain, to detonate their competitiveness activation for the benefit of the country's economy.

In 2020, a credit line for 135 million pesos was granted to a leading company in the pharmaceutical sector to expand its production capacity with the acquisition of a new laboratory in Chile.

This sector’s portfolio presented a private first-tier balance at the end of 2020 of 7,878 million pesos. There was a spread of resources for 5,175 million pesos during the evaluated period, with 11 benefited companies and income from financial margin plus commissions of 201 million pesos.
