Juan Pablo De Botton Falcón
Juan Pablo De Botton holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Centro de Investigación y Desarrollo Económico (CIDE), where he graduated with honors. Currently, he is pursuing a master’s degree in data science at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de Mexico (ITAM). He also attended the University of California, Los Angeles.
His previous post was as general administrator of Planning at the Tax Administration Service (SAT). During his tenure, he managed to strengthen risk models through massive data exploitations, and preloads of tax return information, implemented electronic payment of foreign trade contributions, as well as the generation of new virtual attention schemes for the taxpayer through video calls and mobile applications such as SAT ID.
Previously, he worked as coordinator of advisors in the Economic Planning Unit of the Public Finance in the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit. He also served as Associate Vice President of Corporate Banking at Citibanamex. In addition, he was part of the economic team of then president-elect Andrés Manuel López Obrador, contributing to the macroeconomic and financial strategy of the new administration.
He specializes in Data Science and Big Data. He is an analyst for the public, private, financial and entrepreneurship sectors. Between 2017 and 2018, he designed the Data Science Path to train data analysts in programming, statistics and visualization technologies. He also coordinated and taught various courses and trainings in the public sector, the Bank of Mexico and private banking.

Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Mexico’s National Autonomous University (UNAM).
Responsible for the Fund for Industrial Fixed Assets (FONEI) at Banco de México (Central Bank), and held positions such as the Assistant Director of Discount and Guarantee Programs and Credit Director at Nacional Financiera. Served as the Technical Director for the Deputy General Director’s Office for Credit at Bancomext, and fulfilled these functions under the compatibility scheme since 2007.

Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, with graduate studies at the University of London.
Following an extensive period of time in the foreign credit department at the Secretariat of Finance and Public Health (SHCP), has served as the Deputy General Director of Finances at Bancomext, and the General Administration Director at Banco Nacional de Obras y Servicios Públicos (Banobras).

For 25 years he has worked in senior managing positions at financial institutions, leading several development and implementation projects in credit support programs, electronic systems and banking.
Mario de la Vega has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Mexico’s National Autonomous University (UNAM), an MBA from IPADE and a postgraduate degree in Banking, Finance, Credit, Management and Leadership by Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey.

She has a Law degree from the Escuela Libre de Derecho, specialized in in Fiduciary Banking. She began her career as a corporate trust lawyer at the Banco Nacional de México (now Citibanamex), to later continue working professionally in various financial institutions and private companies handling trust and real estate contracts.

Prior to Bancomext, she was the Head of the Comptroller´s Office of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) for the Ministry of Public Service. Previously, at Citibanamex Financial Group, she was the Coordinator of Quality Assurance and of Special Investigations.
Said Saavedra Bracamonte

Since 2019 Mr. Saavedra Bracamonte has been Deputy Director General of Institutional Promotion of Nacional Financiera (Nafin) and Banco Nacional de Comercio Exterior (Bancomext), responsible for the strategy, execution and coordination of the activities and programs of the regional and state representatives of the institution in Mexico. Previously, he was Northeast and Northwest Regional Director of Nacional Financiera, responsible for the states of Tamaulipas, Nuevo León, Coahuila, Chihuahua, Durango, Sonora, Sinaloa, Baja California and Baja California Sur.
His professional experience includes activities in the public and private sector working for the Government of the State of Sonora, TELEMAX Television, J.P. Morgan and The Bank of New York Mellon, as well. Additionally, he founded several business in the real estate, industrial and telecommunications industries.
Mr. Saavedra Bracamonte holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics with a specialization in financial planning, and Graduate degree in Applied Administration and Public Management from the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM). As a teacher, he has been linked to ITESM, his alma mater, since 2008 as professor and coordinator of the Academy of Economics at the Sonora Norte Campus.
