In July 2017, Standard & Poor's reviewed the perspective of Mexico's sovereign rating from 'negative' to 'stable', arguing that the country was responding adequately to external pressures and financial volatility. A few weeks later, Fitch did the same, however returning to a negative profile on the date indicated. In this way, Moody's is the last to join the stable trend alongside Standard & Poor's.
