The total balance of first and second tier credits, guarantees and induced credit portfolios, at the end of December 2017, amounted to 253.7 billion pesos, 1.3% higher in real terms when compared to the same month of 2016

In the private sector, financing amounted to 248.4 billion pesos, a 3.2% growth in real terms.
The balance of induced credit granted by BANCOMEXT in 2017, including collaterals, guarantees, letters of credit, increased from 41 to 43.5 billion pesos.
The balance of credit granted through Financial Intermediaries went from 25.2 to 31.3 billion pesos, an increase of 16.2% in real terms

The portfolio balances, by currency of national and foreign origin, showed growth from 80.4 to 104.3 billion pesos and from 7.5 to 7.6 billion dollars, respectively.
